What Flavor are your cookies?
All of my cookies are made with my signature vanilla bean sugar cookie and almond vanilla icing. I am working on adding more flavors soon!
Can you match the color exactly?
I’ll sure try, but I do not guarantee exact color matching. I do my absolute best to create cookies that match your color scheme, however due to the difference in computer/phone screens and the fact that I’m custom mixing with food coloring, I can’t guarantee what I see is what you see. I make every effort to make the icing as close to possible as the colors you request.
What allergens are in your cookies?
Cookies may contain but are not limited to these allergens: Eggs, Gluten, Dairy, Almond (tree nuts). While my cookies do not contain peanuts, they are made in a peanut friendly kitchen. I do not offer any allergen friendly options at this time.
Pricing, How much do your cookies cost?
Cookies start at $54 per dozen (2 dozen minimum), or $30 for minis (must be purchased with full size set), and go up from there depending on the complexity of the design. Standard sets include 3-4 colors (including white) and 3-4 designs for the first 3 dozen, and up to 6-8 designs for up to 6 dozen. These sets do not include characters, logos, florals, additional colors/designs, watercolor, stencils, or metallic details, etc. Airbrushing and marker details may or may not be included and is up to the discretion of The Freckled Cookie. I do not often accept character cookies, if you reach out and I feel it is something I can accept, character cookies start at $75/dozen.
Standard cookies range from 3-4″ and minis are usually 2″ at the widest area. I reserve the right to turn down an order or refund a retainer and cancel an order if I feel I cannot complete the design to the best of my ability, or I feel the client and I cannot agree artistically on the inspiration and final design outcome.
Can I send you my design inspiration?
I am happy to take all of your design inspiration into consideration. I love to be sent your invite, some inspiration photos, decor items, and color scheme and then let me create a beautiful, unique set for you. I understand some clients have a specific vision and I want to honor that, but I cannot copy other cookiers original work.
Is there a minimum order?
I require a two dozen minimum on all orders. Minis cannot be purchased alone, but can be added to any order of two dozen or more.
Do I have to pay a Retainer?
I require a non-refundable 50% retainer to hold your place on my calendar. Your order starts immediately after you pay the retainer- from researching designs, to creating sketches, and ordering specific items needed for your cookies. The retainer is used to pay for these items and my time as well as guarantee your date. The balance is due prior to pickup. If a retainer has not been paid, the order is not confirmed. For cookies booked less than one week from the due date the balance is due in full at the time of booking.
How are your cookies Packaged?
All cookies are individually packaged and heat sealed for freshness. If you’d like cookies packaged as favors with a bow please reach out for additional pricing.
I need my cookies in a week! Rush Fee?
Cookies booked within 1 week will have a 20% rush fee added.
Friendly Reminder, Quotes and Invoices
Quotes and Invoices both expire after 48 hours. Your spot in line will be held during that time. After that I will assume you’ve decided not to move forward, and will move on to the next inquiry in line.
